Watch as our girls come out of their shells and embrace their beauty with confidence!
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
C.H.O.I.C.E. is committed to serving inner city teen girls by promoting social and emotional health through activism, and STEAM education via direct, indirect, and tailored services. We focus on maximizing our efforts through field trips, empowerment sessions and leadership/activist workshops. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
Seeing a need for an energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our grass roots organization to empower inner city teen girls regardless of ethnicity to realize the power they have by choosing healthier options for their lives.
Each "CHOICE" Girl will participate in our monthly "Focusing Upon Needs" (F.U.N.) empowerment sessions designed to coach them on choosing higher & healthier options for their lives.
We teach our girls to rest and digest their emotions. Our social justice action plan allows our girls to access resources like social and emotional health development. Thus impacting the community in which they live—equity opportunities to specifically move them toward being emotionally sober girls when faced with sudden or prolonged trauma. Our direct services are geared toward each girl's individual needs. The girls are also given a voice and opportunity to verbalize their opinions and concerns within the school and community, concluding with creating community action development plans.
We are breaking barriers through the foundation "Acts of Service Initiatives."
